The newest scent from Barbara Herman’s Eris Parfums is Delta of Venus – a brand new guava-centric floral that reimagines the Backyard of Eden’s Forbidden Fruit, Eve has reclaimed the Backyard.
There, after consuming the Forbidden Fruit from the Tree of Data, she sits underneath the Tree of Life’s sun-kissed inexperienced leaves and vibrant fruit and writes poems about innocence and expertise whereas the gorgeous serpent coils its cool inexperienced serpentine track across the fragrance’s sunnier notes.
Antoine Lie, Perfumer of the scent says, “With Delta of Venus, I attempted to seize the pure scent of a ripe, juicy guava with all of its inexperienced fragrant sides. Mixed with a floral woody spine, the end result is a really colourful and glowing but textured olfactive construction.”
In addition to the guava accord created by perfumer Antoine Lie completely for Eris. The perfume comprises notes of Italian Bergamot, American Grapefruit, Iranian Galbanum, Egyptian Violet Leaf, Egyptian Jasmine Sambac, Haitian Vetiver and Sandalwood.
The 20% focus Eau de parfum is known as after Anais Nin’s groundbreaking work of erotica, written within the Forties and printed posthumously in 1977.
Delta of Venus is on the market now at Eris stockists, together with Lucky Scent (US) and Sainte Cellier (UK)
